About me

Sixteen years old and had just moved to Stockholm, I went with a bunch of drawings to the College of Arts and asked if I could start there. So young students were not in school but Olle Eséus who were teacher there thought I was nevertheless able to start his evening course in freehand drawing. It was about 1 year. Then took adulthood at training to preschool teachers and professional practice about 30 years. Man, four children, work, and home improvement occupied all the time and signing and painting lay fallow for many years.

After the new studies and new career as a coach / consultant for fourteen years awakened interest in painting again six years ago. January 2012, I resigned from my job and was now able to fully devote myself to my artistic career. After the one-year course at art school Edsviks with inspiring teachers chose to rent studio space with mentoring during autumn 2014 and spring term 2015 to be able to devote myself to my art. This. Also included teacher-led lessons every other week.

My motives often depict the Stockholm archipelago where all the free time allocated on the island Söderöra. Birch is part of the design, which comes from childhood Hälsingland. My nine grandchildren often be my models. I look forward to continuing to develop my own personal expression in art and develop my sense of color and form.
